This is a sweet spot for the Canon PIXMA line with a lot of bang for the buck. This is the new replacement for MG6220, only available since December 2012.

PROS:
------

- Like its predecessor MG6220, this has one more color than the MG5320/MG5420, GRAY, mostly for improved black and white results and to better darken colors. I can't tell the difference gray makes with color pages, but some reviewers can.

- Like its predecessor MG6220, this has an ETHERNET connection (unlike MG5320/MG5420), allowing a solid, simple shared/network wired connection that stays up even when computers are down.

- Only model that comes in WHITE (in addition to the usual black).

- Like the new MG5420 (and unlike MG5320/MG6220), has a handy separate 4"x6" and 5"x7" photo paper drawer at the front.

2. Great printer....BE AWARE OF AMAZON'S "FREQUENTLY BOUGHT TOGETHER" ..THESE ARE NOT THE CORRECT CARTRIDGES.
I give the printer 5 stars because the pictures printed are beautiful. I have owned many printers over the years and this one blew me away. I totally recommend this printer. I do want to make mention that the ink cartridges "fequently bought together" are not the correct cartridges. I purchased these because of the recommendation and had to return.

Amazing printer
I am really impressed with this printer from Canon. It scans, prints, copies, prints 2-up, prints CD/DVD disks, etc. The included software is impressive and it is very compact for all-in-one device. It can be operated wireless or direct connect. I have it USB-connected to one computer and wireless to another plus an iPad. Setup on my network was flawless using the install CD and touch-screen operator panel.
