This Laser Printers give to us some advantages, good reviews already proving the quality of this product, like this :
1. Superfast workhorse for text printing
This is probably more printer than I need. It's a workhorse designed for printing a couple thousand copies or so (at least) a month, and I probably print that much every six months. It is loud, almost vacuum cleaner loud, when it actually prints, but when it's idle it's quiet and is Energy Star certified. I hooked this up to our wireless router (using an ethernet cable) for our home network of Macs. The instructions to do this aren't all that clear, but I fumbled along and got it working on the wireless network in about a half hour. Alternatively, you could just run the printer off one always powered-on Mac via a USB cable, but I like the standalone option better. For Macs, or at least my Macs which still run on OS 10.6, I needed to go to the Canon website and download the printer driver. I also downloaded NetSpot device installer and used it, but I don't know if that was necessary. At any rate, a half hour of this and that and this machine is accessible wirelessly through my...

2. Better than HP
Toner quality is better than HP. No idea why I've been messing with HP and their exaggerated print estimates. We use the Canon 3480B001AA Cartridge 119 II High Capacity Toner. Estimated for I believe 6400 pages, we print full text pages and get approx. 5900-6200 pages per toner.

Decent printer with some issues...
I'm pretty good at setting up new hardware, whether it be building a computer or setting up a printer. Most are easy to use right out of the box. Plug it in, install driver, and voila. Your hardware is ready to use. The Canon imageCLASS is certainly not one of those. Your everyday user/person is going to struggle with setting this up for several reasons. The first is putting the parts together. One of the parts in the back, where you have to align hinges in to holes in order to create a door, you have to literally use brute force to bend the plastic far enough so that the other hinge can fit in to the door. My fingers still hurt front the sharp edges that they ran in to in order to get a firm enough grip, all the while worrying that I was going to break the plastic. Second, the installation didn't work. I tried it several times, rebooting the computer and so on and the installation disc provided would not work! Luckily I was able to go through the control panel and have...
